These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Eos ("the App"), a mobile application published by Apparence ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Eos, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use Eos on devices you own or control, for your personal and non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sublicense, or redistribute the App.

2. Subscriptions and one-time purchases

Eos offers free features plus an optional Premium subscription and a Lifetime one-time purchase. Premium unlocks unlimited goals, advanced stats, and premium themes. Lifetime additionally enables CSV export.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time from your Apple ID account settings. Purchases are processed by Apple and governed by the Apple standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard refund policy.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the goals and amounts you enter, for keeping your device secure, and for using the App in compliance with applicable laws. You agree not to use Eos for any unlawful purpose.

4. Not financial advice

Eos is a personal tracking tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions about your money remain solely your responsibility. For any financial decision, please consult a qualified professional.

5. Your data

Eos is offline-first: your savings data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the App will permanently erase this data. We strongly recommend exporting your deposit history (Lifetime feature) before uninstalling if you want to keep a copy. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, accidental deletion, or operating system issues.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Eos is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible with every device or iOS version.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apparence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Eos shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts, unless a mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
