Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Apparence ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use Eos ("the App"), our mobile savings goal tracker. Eos is designed to be offline-first: your savings data stays on your device.
1. Data we do not collect
Eos does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, address, phone number, or any bank or financial credentials. All your goals, deposits, withdrawals, and transaction history are stored locally on your device.
2. Data processed by third-party services
To keep the App working and improve it, we rely on a small number of third-party services:
- Apple App Store & RevenueCat — handle purchases and subscriptions. Payment information is processed by Apple. RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase identifier so we can verify your subscription status. We never see or store your payment details. See Apple Privacy and RevenueCat Privacy.
- Sentry — collects crash reports and technical diagnostics (device model, OS version, anonymized error stack traces) so we can fix bugs. Crash data does not include your savings information. See Sentry Privacy.
- Mixpanel — collects anonymous product analytics (which screens are opened, which features are used) to help us improve the App. We do not send your goal names, amounts, or any personal data to Mixpanel. See Mixpanel Privacy.
3. Notifications
Eos can send local reminders to help you stick to your savings rhythm. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. We do not send remote push notifications and we do not know whether you opened them.
4. Biometric authentication
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID to protect access to the App, authentication happens on your device through Apple's secure enclave. Biometric data never leaves your iPhone and is never shared with us.
5. Data export
Lifetime users can export their deposit history as a CSV file. The file is generated locally and shared through the standard iOS share sheet. We do not receive a copy.
6. Children
Eos is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone in that age range.
7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because your savings data is stored locally, you can erase it at any time by deleting Eos from your device. For data processed by the third-party services listed above, you may exercise your rights directly with them or contact us and we will help you forward the request.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
